The Environmental Technologies – Land and Water Management diploma, Launched in 2003, looks at environmental monitoring and management in an agricultural context. Emphasis is on field project-based learning. Protecting our valuable water and land resources from harmful impact plays an ever increasing role in this era of agricultural and industrial expansion. This two-year diploma provides students with the knowledge and skills to monitor and evaluate the quality and health of rural land and water resources, and to participate in planning and managing activities so as to sustain and enhance those resources. ACC’s location in a major agricultural centre makes in and ideal site for the study of land and water issues.
