Clayton H. Riddell Faculty of Environment, Earth, and Resources
The Clayton H. Riddell Faculty of Environment, Earth, and Resources at the University of Manitoba, established in 2003, is an innovative faculty that focuses on identifying and managing Earth resources, understanding Earth processes, and examining the implications for the Earth, its environments, and human populations.
We can learn much from the history of our planet, how it works, and how we live upon it. We pursue the physical, chemical, biological, human, and environmental knowledge that we need to live sustainably on Earth. We apply and share that knowledge for the benefit of present and future generations. We use critical thinking, technical expertise, and analytical skills to understand humanity’s impact on the planet, to make a difference for our environment, our Earth, and our use of its resources
We offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Natural Resources Management, Geological Sciences, and Physical and Human Geography.
